Why BTMB Exists

A skill gap most men were never taught.

Most men were never taught how to recognize what they're feeling, regulate their nervous system, or stay grounded in hard conversations. They were taught to perform — strength, composure, control. Those reflexes work for a long time. Eventually they hit a ceiling.

BTMB exists to close that gap. The traditional options miss the mark in different directions. Many men's spaces are unstructured talk circles. Many leadership programs teach what to do without training the regulation that makes it possible. Therapy is valuable, but it often doesn't translate into the moment when a man's jaw is tightening and a conversation is about to go sideways.

We teach the practical skills that bridge that gap.

Our work is body-first, practice-based, and designed to transfer to real life. We run retreats, deliver corporate workshops, and build digital tools — all aimed at the same outcome: men who can use these skills the day after they walk out of the room.

How We Work

Facilitation paired with strong delivery.

BTMB is built around a clear division of work. Jason leads the live facilitation, curriculum, and client relationships. Mason leads the technology, operations, and digital products that extend the company's reach.

That structure lets us do two things well at once: deliver high-quality, in-person experiences for individuals and teams, and build durable tools — assessments, programs, and an upcoming community platform — that support behavior change long after the workshop ends.

Our Principles

What guides the work.

Skill, not pathology.

Most men we work with are carrying patterns that served them at some point. The work isn't about diagnosis or fixing — it's about recognizing those patterns and learning new responses.

Body-first.

Real change happens when men learn to notice what their nervous system is doing before their mind catches up. Insight without embodiment doesn't transfer.

Practice over theory.

A good workshop makes you different in real time, not just smarter about yourself. We design for behavior change, not knowledge transfer.

Connection matters.

Sustainable change rarely happens in isolation. Our work is structured group practice — designed to build the connections that keep men accountable to the skills they've learned.

Honest about fit.

This work asks something of the people who do it. We're transparent about who it serves well, and who would be better served elsewhere.

Outside clinical scope.

BTMB is a coaching and skill-building practice, not therapy. We partner with mental health professionals when participants need clinical support and stay clear about the line.
